NESTLED in a stand of pine and birch on a secluded point overlooking Moosehead Lake in Maine, Moosehead Lodge was built to be a hunting lodge for the Johnson and Johnson family in the early 1900’s. Throughout the past century this magnificent 4,000 square foot lodge has been used as a private residence and resort. We found the Lodge in the early 1990’s at auction, derelict and badly in need of repair. Since then we have restored the Lodge to its original character and grandeur.
We enjoy it as our home and are pleased to make it available to families and gatherings during part of the summer and fall seasons.
